Studying - Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine)
Lisa is a queer student currently undertaking her Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, in Naarm (Melbourne), finishing mid-2021. She believes strongly in a non-diet approach, helping people create a strong base for sustainable health.
She is a food and social justice activist who believes health should be available for everyone, especially the LGBTIQA+ community, so she works to empower people by doing just that. In her spare time Lisa helps to fight for food security and believes in the power of community.
Lisa’s special areas of interest include the non-diet approach, autoimmune diseases, digestive disturbances and transgender health.
Lisa likes to cook, hike, camp, spend time with her pets, sing and has started to learn the violin!
